from chapter 3

The spear was made of a dark speckled wood and the blade was about fourteen inches of roughly pounded steel. If his room mates saw it they would run sceaming out the back door but to Kevin it seemed like warning for something else, a warning that his sgrades were suffering.

The door buckled and crashed down as a young woman in golden armor kicked it open. She steped over a pile of laundry and strode into the room with cat like grace. In each hand she held strange blackened sticks. Following her was a man in similar armor but with more decorations covering it. He pulled the spear out of the wall ripping my poster.

It was surreal the forst time this happened with Koh Chu-mong but seeing these two just filled me with dread and I spoke what I was thinking "Oh no, not again".

"ok, what famous Korean heros are you"? I asked

"I am Lapu Lapu, this is Urduja and we are Filipino, not Korean. We need to return home. Can you help us".

Urduja: "What's that smell"?

Kevin: "But I'm Korean, shouldn't you be Korean, The last guy was Koh Chu-mong, a famous Korean archer and hero"?

Lapu Lapu: "Listen child. Last time I remember, I was on the beach teaching my playing with my Cockatoo. It was late April. This guy named Magellan had sent me a message from his fleet of ships just beond our shores. He offered gifts but I think he has come to harm us.

My bird took flight and I was blinded by her wings and I appeared in this place in a cloud of pigeons. I must get home to deal with this Magellan character. I don't trust him. He has a huge mustash. I don't trust people with huge mustashes. You must help us.

Kevin: "What if I don't want to help you".

Then you have a choice young man. You can either help us return to our home or we will make this our home untill we can find a way back. This is the order of Lapu Lapu.

Kevin: "You can't do that".

Urduja: "oh, god it's the coffee. That's disgusting".

Kevin: To get Hoh Chu-mong home I had to do some crazy stuff. My grades are a mess, The laundry isn't done, I have a headache. I don't have time to get you home.

Urduja: "What is this black box that glows green and what have you done to that orange"?*
